PRODUCT fire systems (Smoke & Leak sensors)
smoke detector
Smoke detector is sensitive to smoke from fire. The device warns when the compartment of this de-
tector is full of smoke.
Optical smoke detector is based on the principle of light scattering and can detect smoke.
Normally, light rays pass through the front of the detector and become trapped in the implanted cells.
But once the smoke appears, some light is scattered by the smoke particles and the sensor diode re-
ceives them, eventually causing the detector to work and send a signal to the fire alarm.
“ smoke detector saves your life ”
Properly installed smoke detectors play an important role in reducing fire deaths. If there is a fire in
your house, the smoke will spread and you will need a smoke alarm to get out. These detectors help
you to extinguish a fire faster by notifying you in good time.
important points regarding the use of Smoke Detector:
• Install a smoke detector on each floor of the house, in each bedroom and outside each sleeping area.
• Large homes may require additional smoke detectors.
• Test the detector at least once a month.
• The smoke alarm should be installed at least 3 meters away from a gas stove to minimize false alarms
when cooking food.
• Do not install a smoke detector near windows or doors, as the airflow will interfere with smoke
detection and proper operation of the unit.
• Never paint the smoke alarm as it will interfere with its operation.
• Replace smoke detectors in your home every 10 years.
Our technologically advanced smoke detectors have reduced false alarms. We therefore recommend that
you use the latest models with the latest technologies when purchasing and installing these systems.
